I disagree about “All college and university students would benefit from spending at least one semester studying in a foregin country” because of two reason.

 First, we can listen to high-quality lectures from overseas universities through ‘mooc’ or other platforms. For example, I interested in Machine Learning and Deep Learning. I wondered if I should go abroad to study this subject better, and I consulted the professor. The professor said that there was no need to go abroad. The reason was that many good lectures were open on the Internet, and that you could improve your skills by listening to them. Since then, I have been studying while listening to foregin college’s lecture about deep learning and machine learning lectures. Today, as the Internet develops, there is an environment where you can study interesting topics while improving your foreign language skills on many topics, so you don't have to go abroad.

 Second, globalization progresses, experiences that can be obtained overseas can also obtained in Korea. Many foreigners have come to Korea for various purposes, and they can show many experiences while interacting with them. For example, I was invited by a friend to participate in foreign event, and I was able to have many different experiences there. In other words, there is no need to spend money to experience something different even when going abroad.
